TPTC retains GreenDNA certification, keeping it strong for three years in a row

About GreenDNA

GreenDNA is a certification system issued by the Singapore Environment Council (SEC)–a United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)-recognised group that promotes a low-carbon lifestyle, responsible consumption and production, and other green activities by all segments of the community.

This is one of the highest credentials offered by the SEC. Organisations earn it by demonstrating a year-on-year reduction in their carbon footprint, carefully calculated using the established Greenhouse Gas Protocol and ISO 14064 standards. They would also need to train their staff on sustainable practices, and obtain an Eco Office Certification.

A win for all, by all
Naturally, this achievement would not have been possible without the cooperation and mindfulness of every team member.

Initially, our team was aided by reminders from strategically placed posters around our office which encouraged them to go greener in every aspect of our operations. They would minimise the use of electricity, water, and paper while avoiding single-use plastic and making full use of our paper recycling station.

Today, these practices have become second nature for everyone in our office and are quickly drummed into new joiners.

Ultimately, it was a great team effort, and we hope we have inspired more organisations in Singapore to follow in our footsteps.
Three years of green success, and we’re not stopping here

This GreenDNA certification isn’t just a recognition; it’s a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainability.

While we are grateful for this achievement, our team’s effort continues, and we intend to keep this momentum going for years to come.
